Nick Petronzio
Nick Petronzio is a second generation sculptor, painter and artist who began working under the tutelage of his father Robertino Petronzio at age twelve. Nick has produced works that range from the reproduction of a Pietro Cipriani bronze sculpture for the J. Paul Getty Museum to a fiberglass Mickey Mouse and monumental T-Rex for Disney's California Adventure. Nick has also realized several sculptures for celebrated artists including Vincent Capraro (Bull fighter), Yayoi Kusama (Hymn of Life Tulips), Erin Lareau (Walk of the Glass Slippers) and Tanya Ragir (Dune). Nick created several key production sculptures for film & television, including Darren Aranofsky's "The Fountain" and Rob Cohen's "The Mummy; Tomb of the Dragon Emperor". Nick practices his craft on a daily basis, always striving to expand his own sculpture, style and technique. His personal sculpture style reveals his understanding of the human and animal anatomy but ultimately the human experience and spirit. His fascination with the human form and with mankind's broad emotional range has inspired him to create dynamic and sensitive works that each carry a quality that is timeless.
